With its friendly ambiance and welcoming staff, this local eatery has become a favorite for both locals and tourists alike.
On my recent visit to La Llimona, I was immediately captivated by the warm atmosphere. I indulged in the gambas in garlic, a dish that redefined my expectations with its rich seasoning and tender prawns. The garlic marinade was simply addictive, leaving me yearning for more. The octopus was perfectly grilled, combining a smoky flavor with a tenderness that melted in my mouth.
I also had the pleasure of trying their aubergine crisps with goat cheese and honey. This dish was a delightful balance of sweet and savory, with each bite offering new layers of flavor. It’s the kind of dish that stays with you, making La Llimona a spot I will certainly revisit whenever I am in Barcelona.

“ The staff is very friendly, the tapas is amazing very nice local restaurant ”
“ Wonderful Spanish food. I ordered the toast, mushroomprawn tapas and grilled octopus. I have to say they hit it out of the park. Granted, it wasn’t the cheapest but they were more than filling. It’s literally walking distance from L’illa mall, so a good place to stop by if you come shopping here ”
“ I'm first time in Barcelona and I don't speak Spanish, but this place has menu with pictures. that's really nice of them. what is interesting, plates I got look exactly like those on photos. what is more, it's very tasty here. I found two dishes without meat - patatas bravas (fried potato with two sauces) and tsipras (aubergine crisps with goat cheese, honey and something green), both I can recommend, vere delicious. although, I should take only one, portions are big. :) since I'm staying nearby, I'm sure that I'll come back in next days. :) oh, as a starter they gave me some olives, since I'm not eating them at all, it was waste of food, but I assume typically people like olives, so if you want only to try some Spanish olives don't order them, you'll get them free :) ”
“ Great food quality, with very reasonable price. ”
“ I really enjoyed their special menu for the day. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Thanks ”
